Hire Local connects local job seekers with neighborhood businesses. Launched in 2017, the goal of Hire Local is for both residents and businesses to benefit from the neighborhood’s growth.
The Initiative
Businesses who sign the “Hire Local Pledge” agree to give priority hiring consideration to residents of 44102 and surrounding zip codes. In turn, residents can access numerous free training programs at El Barrio Workforce Development at The Centers for Families and Children, to ensure that they are job ready.
